The Melting Pot
Super quick post ahead! So, my sister in law is getting married tonight. Very small ceremony with a justice of the peace. We're not even going, it's that small! But, we are meeting up with them and the parents and grandparents afterward for dinner at The Melting Pot. MP said that they can accommodate a vegan... I'm so curious what they'll feed me! Fake cheese fondue? With tofu veggie kabobs to dip in it? Or will I get an entree that's not fondue-y? I just hope I can have some chocolate fondue...

OMG this post is amazing. The Melting Pot used to be my favorite restaurant pre-vegan days, when I was a vegetarian. I never thought I could step foot again, so I am very interested to know!! I always did like the santa margarita white wine as well ;)

Hmmm....I wish I'd known that a few years ago. My friends had some coupons to the Melting Pot for two couples. So we decided to go as a double date for Valentine's Day. I'd only recently gone vegan (just a few months in), I vowed to only eat the bread and apples and dipper stuff.
But when that waitress brought the cheese to our table and made cheese fondue right in front of me, I melted (ha, no pun intended) and ate it anyway. And then I said "fuck it" and ate the chocolate too. It was one of a couple "cheating" incidents in the early days.
Of course, I didn't think to ask about vegan options. Please let us know how this turns out.
I hope you get something v.yummy and not just some lettuce!
